Look at the baby...

Whenever Travis or I look at Zane while he is sleeping we say "look at the baby" the way Brooklyn (my 3 yr old neice) once said it right after Zane was born. There is nothing more wonderful than a sleeping baby. It is so easy to see why we love them...unconditionally. Especially since 30 minutes before this he was screaming, throwing up all over me, and generally feeling terrible. We're hoping for a better afternoon!

Our Trip to Oahu and the Big Island

Aloha from Hawaii! We went to Honolulu for 5 days and Waikaloa (just north of Kona) for 5 days and had a great time. Merry Christmas to us from Scott and Mona.

Zane's first day at the beach, how exciting!

We went up to the North Shore to check out Matsumoto's, a couple of surf shops, and of course, the Laie Temple.

We stayed at the Royal Hawaiian, it's pink yet manly.

After we spent a few days on Oahu, we took a plane to Kona on the Big Island. We had a great time seeing the sights and relaxing on the beach. One of the days we drove down the coast to the City of Refuge.

We saw lots of turtles. Some were swimming by the City of Refuge, but this one and his friend were just hanging out on the beach near our condo.

Most of all, Zane loved being with Grandpa Scott and Grandma Mona everyday!

And we successfully wore him out!
