Zane's Day in the Snow (by Travis)

A few weeks ago Marcie, Zane, and Maggie played in the snow while I was at work. I don't blame them, I would have played in the snow if they were at work and I was home. But, here is Zane's first snow day.

On Friday we decorated for Christmas, this included the Fisher Price nativity which Zane likes to play with. He is pictured here putting his snacks in the plastic tray that holds the hay.

On Saturday morning I wanted to play the Wii. Zane usually likes to hold a remote but he was trying to hit the tennis ball and was making all sorts of sound effects. It was a lot of fun.

That afternoon we were at Marcie's parents house and Zane wanted to follow Al outside. So I got his jacket and we went on a long walk. For those who don't know he has been walking for 2 weeks or so.

That night we went to Wingers were Zane took most of my fries and took turns dipping them in my ketchup and ranch dressing. When he was done he would offer me the soggy half chewed fry.



Later that night he wouldn't eat anything so I set a bowl of applesauce on his tray with a spoon thinking it would entertain him for a while. I was wrong, he was only entertained until I left the room. It really was a great weekend.

Mmmmm...

Zane has been making some pretty good headway with feeding himself and using a 'poon' but he still makes quite a mess.
